Hello there

Welcome new readers, and welcome back, old. This blog, cobwebs and all, has been serving me well as an impromptu, if sporadic, review of my id over the last several years. Instead of making people go through all the long, boring work of getting to know me by talking to me and whatnot, I have been referring them here, with the warning that I might come off as a 13-year-old girl. So, to those new readers, welcome! I hope you decide to continue talking to me after reading this drivel.

And to my old readers, hi. Maybe I'll get back to my original rhythm of updating with cryptic entries like once a month. Maybe not. Do you care? Are you even there?

What's new in my life? Lots. Nothing. Almost done dissertating. Still mostly depressed, underemployed, undermotivated. I believe good things are on the horizon, though, so that's cool (see, I can still be vague and cryptic).

Been twittering a lot, although some jerk has taken http://twitter.com/karmabot but hasn't done anytthing with it since April 2008. Who does s/he thing s/he is, me? If you have a twitter account, reply that person and ask him/her to relinquish the account so I can use it. I have ideas.
